A beautifully preserved, one-owner 1996 Trace Elliot AH200S GP7SM head paired with matching 2103X 2x10" and 1153T 1x15" cabinets. This complete UK-built rig includes the original Trace Elliot SMX Dual Compressor pedal and fitted covers. Gigged briefly in the late ‘90s, then carefully stored – a clean, fully functioning example from the golden years of British bass amplification.
Built at Trace Elliot’s Maldon, Essex factory, the AH200S delivers 200 watts RMS of solid-state power with the classic GP7SM preamp section, featuring a 7-band graphic EQ, pre-shape circuit, switchable compression, effects loop, and DI output. The 2103X cab houses two custom 10" Celestion drivers, and the 1153T cab features a single 15" Celestion with high-frequency horn – a combination known for punch, clarity, and huge low-end depth.
Trace Elliot rigs like this defined professional bass tone throughout the 1990s, heard on stages and sessions with players such as Mark King (Level 42), John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin), Doug Wimbish (Living Colour), and John McVie (Fleetwood Mac). The tone is unmistakably Trace – articulate mids, deep, tight lows, and that signature “British growl.”
All components are original and in very good condition for their age. The tolex, grills, and control panels are clean with only light cosmetic marks from honest use. Tested and working perfectly, ready for studio, stage, or collection.
