PRODUCT DETAILS
Known by most of us for being the go-to brand for a quality entry or intermediate-level instrument. Squier was originally founded as V.C. Squier Company in Michigan by Victor Carroll Squier in 1890! The brand originally produced strings for guitars, banjos & predominantly violins. These were considered to be some of the best strings you could buy outside of Europe at the time & were made in the famous "fiddle factory" of Battle Creek. The V.C. Squier Company was acquired by Fender Guitar Corp. in 1975, today the brand now just known as Squier are known for extending the Fender line-up making some classic Fender models more accessible at lower price points. The instruments have been made in a variety of different factories through the years including China, Korea, Indonesia & Japan where the Silver Series were produced during the 1990s.
As previously stated our 1990 Silver Series Stratocaster does hold some minor chips to the lacquer finish (pictured) However considering its 30-plus years in use, its wear is surprisingly minimal compared to over examples we've seen. This is an ideal guitar for anyone seeking a bit of Fender history or just for the guitarist looking for a little bit of nostalgia, Our silver series Stratocaster will not disappoint.
