Drop dead gorgeous 1969 cherry Gibson SG Special w/ Large Guard, Vibrola, & P-90s in Excellent Condition!

One of Gibson's most iconic & longest-running models! This is our GORGEOUS! 1969 Gibson SG Special! This is a beautiful vintage piece that has been very well cared for. This particular SG features the large 'bat wing' pickguard with two original Gibson P-90 pickups that just sound spectacular, not only that but this also features an original factory-fitted Vibrola term & compensated 'wrap-around' tailpiece!

Our '69 SG Special is in amazing shape for a Gibson-knocking 55 years of age! As you'd expect it has aged beautifully in its time as well as having collected a few signs of wear & age along the way, while there is a small collection of chips & dings around the guitar as a whole it is all cosmetic and is still functioning & playing as well as the day it left the factory, if not better. As you can see from our images it has all its original hardware, plastics & electronics with the pots dating to '69 also. It weighs in at a gorgeous 7.31lb & has a nut width of 1.57" that widens to a hair over 2" at the 12th fret. This stunning SG currently plays with a beautifully low action that is effortless to play and is just jaw-dropping when plugged into your amp of choice. It is an amazing piece that would take pride of place in anyone's collection.
