Martin Vintage Series HD-28V (Custom HD-28) 2011 - Natural

Inspired by Martins's vintage D-28’s but with modern playability and scalloped X bracing which gives these fine guitars fantastic acoustic volume. Tinted Spruce top, with an attractive Herringbone binding and forward bracing, Rosewood back and sides, a very high quality and interesting Martin that is no longer in production, 

This example is in excellent condition as it was part of a large collection and has seen very little use. Aside from a few light playing marks, this guitar is near mint.

The setup and playing action, after a visit to our workshop, is also fantastic. A very playable guitar. It also benefits from a discreet Fishman under-saddle pickup for stage or studio use.

These HDs have a soft V-shaped mahogany neck with white side dots. Ebony fingerboard with abalone diamond inlays. Frets are in great shape, and nicely polished with very light wear. 

Rosewood headstock overlay and Grover open-gear Butterbean tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. The neck is straight, and the truss rod works fine.

One of the finest Dreadnought Martins that you can buy, this guitar will not disappoint!
