The E20OOSS/V represents a significant evolution of the standard E20. Eastman has completely reimagined the model with an aged nitrocellulose finish, elegant slotted headstock, revised bridge and fingerboard design, vintage-style diamond inlays, figured maple binding, herringbone purfling and a beautifully executed Sunburst finish that looks every bit like a well-preserved golden-era instrument.

Tonally, this guitar is exceptional. The combination of a solid Adirondack spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides produces a voice that is powerful yet incredibly refined. There is outstanding note separation, crisp articulation and impressive headroom, while the rosewood contributes rich overtones and a deep, piano-like bass response. The compact 00 body offers superb balance, making it equally at home under a microphone, accompanying vocals or delivering articulate fingerstyle performances.

The slotted headstock is more than simply a visual feature. The increased string break angle over the nut and lighter headstock design contribute to a lively, responsive feel with excellent sustain and a wonderfully open character that suits both fingerpickers and flatpickers alike.

This example is presented in excellent original condition, easily a solid 9/10. There are a few light pickguard marks together with a couple of small indents and superficial scuffs on the body, all consistent with careful ownership and light home or studio use. The guitar remains completely original throughout and has clearly been exceptionally well cared for.

As you would expect from an Eastman of this calibre, the setup is superb. The neck feels effortless in the hand, the action is comfortable across the fingerboard and the guitar responds beautifully to every nuance of your playing, whether with fingers or plectrum.
