The OMCPA4 combines a traditional rosewood back and sides with a comfortable Performing Artist neck profile and Martin’s highly regarded OM body shape. The neck has a modern, comfortable feel, with a relatively slim profile that sits naturally in the hand and makes the guitar particularly easy to play. It offers a smooth transition along the fingerboard and is equally comfortable for fingerstyle, chord work and lead playing.

The OM body size is one of Martin’s most versatile designs — compact and beautifully balanced, yet with plenty of projection and tonal depth. The rosewood construction gives this guitar a rich, complex voice with excellent warmth, clarity and sustain. There is a lovely balance between strong, articulate trebles, a full and controlled bass response and a clear, musical midrange. It has the kind of responsive, detailed tone that works beautifully for both fingerstyle and strumming.

The Performing Artist Series was designed with the modern player in mind, and this example is fitted with Martin’s factory-installed professional electronics, making it equally at home on stage or in the studio.

This particular guitar is in excellent condition and has seen very little use. It has a great setup with a comfortable playing action and feels exceptionally easy and enjoyable to play.
