Very Cool 1965 Hofner Galaxie 176 Deluxe – Brilliant Red – All Original, Very Good Condition
This is a lovely example of the legendary 1960s German-made Hofner Galaxie 176 Deluxe. In excellent condition for its age, it shows only a few minor marks and dings.
There is a small fracture on the back of the carved maple neck below the headstock — but it is completely stable, has been present for many years, and has caused no issues. With a solid setup a this guitar deserves serious consideration if you're looking for one of these wonderful vintage instruments.

1965 Hofner Galaxie 176 Deluxe, finished in a brilliant red lacquer. Unlike other models in the lineup, the 176 Deluxe features independent on/off switches and independent tone controls for each pickup, plus a Solo/Rhythm selector switch.
Everything functions exactly as it should. And take a look at the ingenious engineering of the tremolo unit and machine heads on this guitar!
Our nearly 60-year-old Galaxie remains in superb condition for its age and has clearly been very well cared for. Aside from typical cosmetic wear, this Hofner is very original — and it still both sounds and plays beautifully.
