Here we have a 2016 Gibson Les Paul Studio ‘60s Tribute T in a Satin Vintage Sunburst finish, offering up that unmistakable Les Paul feel and tone in a stripped-back, player-focused package. The satin finish gives it a slightly more understated, broken-in look straight out of the case, while still letting the classic sunburst aesthetic shine through.
It’s got all the core ingredients where it counts, solid body construction, a comfortable ‘60s-style neck profile, and that familiar Gibson voice. Expect a tight, articulate low end, clear and present mids, and a smooth top that holds together beautifully whether you’re running clean or pushing into overdrive. It’s responsive, direct, and feels right at home in just about any setting.
Condition is excellent overall, with some honest playwear. The most noticeable area is along the neck, where the satin finish has naturally glossed over from use, giving it that slick, played-in feel that a lot of players actually prefer. It’s purely cosmetic and speaks to a guitar that’s been enjoyed without being abused.
It comes with an aftermarket shaped hard case that fits the instrument well and offers solid protection. A great option if you’re after a no-frills Les Paul with real character, a comfortable feel, and all the tone you’d expect from a Gibson.
