PRODUCT DETAILS
A superb one-owner example of a 1976 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Ebony, offered for sale in excellent condition complete with its original hard case.
Built at Gibson's Kalamazoo factory during the golden Bicentennial era, this Les Paul Custom features the classic maple-top/mahogany-body construction, bound ebony fingerboard, and a pair of original patent-sticker humbuckers reading 7.52kΩ in the neck position and 7.44kΩ at the bridge. Weighing 10.67lbs, it delivers the authoritative sustain, focused midrange punch, and piano-like low end that serious Les Paul players seek.
The guitar remains remarkably original throughout. The original frets show only light, honest wear and have been professionally crowned and polished as part of a thorough workshop inspection. The setup is excellent, making this a highly playable vintage instrument as well as a strong collector-grade example.
Aside from a few minor dings and signs of careful use accumulated over nearly five decades, this is among the cleanest and most honest 1976 Les Paul Customs we have encountered.
A fine vintage Gibson for the discerning player, collector, or investor.
