Bob Taylors most desirable Dreadnought acoustic at the time, designed to rival the Martin top end "Pearly" acoustics and they really succeeded with this fine instrument.
Solid tone woods featuring a Engleman Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides. Ebony fingerboard, Mahogany neck, bone top nut and saddle and Cindy-Ascension fingerboard inlays.
There are numerous light marks and small dings from use as one would expect from a 32 year old instrument. The benefits of its age and use mean that the acoustic tone has “opened up” and this guitar sounds amazing. Its often argued amongst players that these 1990’s Taylor dreadnought had a superior tone when compared to more modern instruments from this company.
The frets are in great shape, and we have given it a full workshop set up. These have nice slim necks and are very nice to play, lending itself to all the playing styles that Dreadnoughts are famous for and sitting nicely with your voice due to its incredible acoustic volume. It also has a discreet under saddle pickup fitted for studio or recording use.
