We’ve just taken in this stunning 2020 Rock N Roll Relics Thunders SC, finished in an eye-catching TV Yellow nitrocellulose lacquer with tastefully executed relic work. This model is Rock N Roll Relics’ inspired take on the legendary Gibson Les Paul Special, but with their own unique twist.
Instead of the traditional P-90s, this Thunders SC sports a pair of vintage-voiced PAF-style humbuckers, offering an incredible tonal range. From searing John Sykes-style leads to Eric Clapton’s fabled “woman tone” and everything in between, this guitar delivers with authority. The slim yet comfortable C-profile neck invites effortless playing, while the wraparound tune-o-matic bridge ensures rock-solid intonation and sustain. It’s a refined, road-ready evolution of a classic — all the mojo, none of the compromises.
This example is in excellent overall condition. It has had a minor, expertly executed neck repair that is structurally sound and barely noticeable. It comes complete with its original white Rock N Roll Relics hard case. This guitar weighs 7.84.

As with all new arrivals, this Thunders SC has been carefully inspected and set up in our on-site workshop to ensure it’s performing at its very best.
We operate on an appointment-only basis, with all instruments handled exclusively by MotoMusic staff. We are always happy to consider quality part-exchange instruments.
