Feast your eyes on this psychedelic shred machine the elusive 1991 Ibanez JEM77-BFP (Blue Floral Pattern), part of the original Made in Japan run from the golden age of Vai signature models. This one’s all-original, full of vibe, and in very good condition, with just enough honest wear to let you know it’s lived.

Only produced for a short run between 1991 and 1992, the JEM77-BFP has become a true cult classic in the JEM universe. The standout Blue Floral Pattern isn’t just a printed finish it’s actual fabric set beneath a clear coat, giving it a look and texture like nothing else on the market. Pair that with top-tier craftsmanship out of the legendary Fujigen factory, and you've got a guitar that’s as collectible as it is playable.

This model features a basswood body paired with a one-piece maple neck, capped with a bound rosewood fretboard and adorned with the iconic vine inlay. Frets 21 through 24 are scalloped a classic Vai touch that makes high-register bends and runs effortless. The guitar is loaded with its factory-installed DiMarzio PAF Pro humbuckers in the neck and bridge, with a JEM single-coil in the middle, offering up everything from smooth sustain to snarling lead tones. The original Edge tremolo system remains rock solid, perfect for anything from subtle vibrato to full-on dive bombs. Weight comes in at a comfortable 7.52 pounds perfectly balanced whether you're standing or sitting.

Condition-wise, it presents very well for a guitar over three decades old. There are some minor dings and light scratches around the body and headstock, a bit of natural wear to the gold hardware, and a small lacquer crack around the neck pocket purely cosmetic, and a common occurrence on these models. The frets show little to no wear, and the neck feels smooth and fast with zero dead spots or buzz.

This JEM is completely original, with no modifications or swapped parts. It ships in a non-original Ibanez ABS-style molded hardshell case that fits securely and offers excellent protection.
