This is a Custom Shop creation, crafted in Bozeman Montanna a 1952 Gibson J-185 Antique Natural finish 2023,

In perfect condition and played just a handful of times by its single previous owner, as new and in mint condition,

Not all J-185s are equal, the build quality and level of finish on this fine custom shop guitar is staggering.

A faithful reproduction of the famous original J-185, this legacy series guitar is not to be confused with lesser examples,

Even the Nitro finish looks and feels like a vintage Gibson, they have done a remarkable job replication the 1952 original,

With a thermally aged solid Sitka Spruce top on Flame Maple back and sides, it has a deep, resonant, and really powerful sound. It's immediately recognizable and serves well both fingerpicking and strumming big chords. Very versatile and comfortable to play as it is not as large as a Jumbo,

With a beautiful Rosewood fingerboard, the J-185 features mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays, a 12" radius, 24.75" scale length, and a "V" neck profile.

It comes with a bone saddle and nut as well as Gotoh Keystone tuners. It's comfortable, poised, and ready to play.

With such a stunning natural sound it really holds its own at the lower end, it offers great projection and balance without compromising on note clarity and headroom.

Sold with its original Lifton-style Gibson hardshell case, certificate of authenticity, and paperwork,
