Very Rare! USA Built 1991 Candy Red Valley Arts Standard Pro in Excellent Condition!

A legendary USA workhorse! A very rare find has just arrived in the store with us! This is a 1991 Valley Arts Standard Pro! Finished in a very cool Metalic Candy Red! Known for building iconic guitars for the likes of Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits, Valley Arts introduced the Standard Pro in the late 80s / early 90s and said in their marketing that " the only thing standard about it was the price ". These guitars were built by Valley Arts in California USA, offered in 4 hi-gloss finishes, and came standard with hi-end aftermarket parts & electronics including a trifecta of EMG Pickups (SA Neck: 16.73k / SA Middle: 16.69k / 85 Bridge: 16.68k), Valley Arts Gotoh Tuners, Licsenced Valley Arts Floyd Rose, & more! with ours being a beautiful weight of 7.92lb! Our model features the smaller 7/8 body with a 24.75" scale.

For a 33-year-old workhorse, this Standard Pro has been very well-kept by its previous owner & is in superb shape! Aside from the expected wear to the hardware, there are one or two chips around the headstock & on the lower edge of the body but these are purely cosmetic (pictured) & a replaced term arm & Locking nut. It is currently beautifully set up with Ernie Ball Super Slinky (9-42) strings with medium/low action, with plenty of meat left on the frets!

As is standard practice with any new arrival in store, this very cool Standard Pro has been through the trusted hands of our team in our onsite workshop to ensure it is in tip-top shape for its new home and owner!

Our 1991 Candy Red Valley Arts Standard Pro comes with an aftermarket non-original Ibanez Hardcase!
