Introducing the distortion pedal of your dreams! Built-in Wangs, Switzerland the SAULE Distortion by Smirmoor Pedals has been described in some of its reviews as a "RAT on steroids!" designed & optimized for lower tunings & 'baritone' type instruments with some nice additional features that include Low/Mid Switching that optimizes/boosts the chosen frequency, the expected Gain & Vol knobs with the Tone which similar to a RAT adjust the amount of high-frequency post gain stage!
Circuit: Additional Preamp for longer sustains, once the pedal is engaged with gain at 0 it will slightly boost the signal already. It has 3 times more gain than that in the RAT, Additional filter to shift the gain peak from around 1kHz to 200Hz, Additional asymmetric clipping for smoother tone, TL072 opamp, 1N914 clipping diodes.
