Way Huge Supa-Lead MkIII

The Way Huge Supa-Lead MkIII is a wonderfully straightforward overdrive and distortion pedal that delivers big, muscular guitar tones while retaining plenty of character and dynamics. It is the kind of pedal that works particularly well when you want to push a good amplifier harder, rather than simply imposing a heavily processed sound over the top.

Tonally, the Supa-Lead has a rich, full-bodied character with plenty of low-end weight, strong mids and a smooth, singing top end. Backing off the guitar volume cleans things up nicely, while digging in brings out a more aggressive, harmonically rich response with plenty of sustain. There is a pleasing warmth to the distortion, but enough bite and definition to keep chords articulate and lead lines clear.

The MkIII version offers a useful range of gain, making it equally at home producing thick classic-rock crunch, saturated rhythm tones or a more powerful lead sound with plenty of sustain. It has a very natural feel under the fingers and responds particularly well to the player's touch and guitar volume control.
