Very cool pair of 1970s Park Basketweave Vertical 2x12" Speaker Cabinets in Very Good Condition!

Here’s a killer pair of vintage British tone boxes a matched pair of 1970s Park 2x12" vertical ‘Basketweave’ cabinets, each loaded with two original Celestion G12M-75 “Greyback” speakers. These came from the same setup and have lived side by side for decades a proper old-school pairing that delivers that unmistakable, woody, classic British roar.

Built during the golden era when Park served as Marshall’s sister brand, these cabs share the same DNA as their more famous cousins birch ply construction, vertical configuration, and the iconic basketweave grill cloth that screams early ’70s. Plug them in and you’re right back in that era: tight low end, punchy mids, and that singing upper register that only vintage Celestions can do.

Both cabs are in very good condition for their age. They’ve seen some genuine use over the years a few scuffs, marks, and small tears in the tolex but nothing major or structural. The speakers are original and fully healthy, and both cabs are 100% functional with no rattles or issues. Some non-original plastic feet have been added to the sides of each cab at some point a practical mod, easily reversible if you prefer them back to stock.

Tone-wise, they’re everything you’d hope for: rich, articulate, and full of that vintage growl that makes these old Celestion-loaded boxes so special. Together, they move air like a full stack but with a tighter, more focused projection that sits perfectly on stage or in the studio.
