This is a highly regarded Matchless Avalon 30 combination amplifier in excellent condition and manufactured in 2010,

Was the Magical Sword of King Arthur really forged on the island of Avalon? Matchless has certainly created a magical all-tube amp in it LA workshop, that can deliver a stunning array of tones for its 1x12" cabinet.

The five 12AX7's (Two for its Reverb) and a pair of EL-84s deliver AC-30 chime to Marshall Plexi gain. It has drive will clarity, a pure tone machine.

The rectifier valve is a 5AR4, the driver is an evergreen Celestion 12" G12H. The build quality is exceptional. Usable tone controls that actually do something, and a simple layout means it is easy to find that sweet spot.

It is an amp that will make you smile and bring out the best in your cool guitars and effects pedals.

Hardly a mark on its lovely black Tolex covering and it's been very well cared for by its previous owner.

We have put it through our own workshop for a full health check, and it's now ready for a new home.
