Marshall JVM205H 2-Channel 50-Watt Head 2021

A superb 2021 Marshall JVM205H 50-watt valve head in excellent, essentially like-new condition. This example is exceptionally clean with not a mark to speak of and has clearly seen very little use.

The JVM205H is one of Marshall's most versatile modern valve heads, combining the familiar authority and character of a British Marshall with a huge amount of tonal flexibility. With two channels, three gain modes per channel and independent EQ sections, it offers an impressive range of sounds from clean and articulate through to serious high-gain territory.

The JVM2 series uses four ECC83 preamp valves and two EL34 power valves to deliver the classic Marshall voice, with 50 watts of all-valve power. Channel 1 provides Clean, Crunch and OD1-style sounds, while Channel 2 offers a more aggressive high-gain character. Each mode can be footswitch-selected, making the JVM particularly useful as a live amplifier.

The rear panel provides an effects loop, speaker outputs and MIDI connectivity, while Marshall's Silent Recording feature and emulated line output add useful flexibility for recording and modern setups.

Tonally, the JVM205H has everything you would expect from a modern Marshall. The clean sounds are clear and substantial, the crunch settings deliver excellent British overdrive with plenty of punch and harmonic detail, while the higher-gain modes produce thick, saturated distortion with a tight low end and strong upper-mid presence.

This is an amplifier that can cover an enormous amount of ground without losing the fundamental Marshall character. It responds particularly well to picking dynamics and guitar volume changes, while the multiple gain stages allow the player to move from classic rock through to much heavier territory.

This example has been through our onsite workshop where it has been inspected and checked over by our team. It is in genuinely exceptional cosmetic condition and is ready for its next owner.
