PRODUCT DETAILS
A very clean 2009 Marshall 1960A Lead 4x12" cabinet in the rather special factory White finish.
This example is in excellent condition and has seen only light use. The white covering is particularly striking and gives the cabinet that unmistakable Randy Rhoads-era look, while the familiar Marshall 1960A format makes it a serious working cabinet as well as a very desirable piece for the collector.
This cabinet has come to us as part of a complete Randy Rhoads Signature stack, alongside the matching 2009 Marshall 1959RR Randy Rhoads Signature MKII Super Lead 100-Watt head. The 1959RR was produced as a limited run of just 600 units worldwide, making the opportunity to acquire a matching head and cabinets particularly unusual.
The 1960A is Marshall’s classic angled 4x12" cabinet design, rated at 300 watts and built around four 12" speakers. It delivers the familiar big Marshall 4x12" sound powerful, focused and immediate, with plenty of low-end authority, punchy mids and the kind of projection that allows a high-powered Marshall head to really open up.
Paired with the 1959RR, this is a particularly convincing combination, delivering the huge, aggressive sound and visual presence associated with Randy Rhoads’ famous white Marshall rig.
At the time of listing, we also have the matching 2009 Marshall 1959RR head and another matching 1960 4x12" cabinet available. Anyone interested in putting together the full Randy Rhoads Signature stack is very welcome to get in touch.
A very clean example of a particularly desirable Marshall cabinet, and an increasingly difficult one to find in this original factory White finish.
