Founded by Grover Jackson in 1980, the Jackson Guitar Company first began in the 1970s when Jackson obtained part ownership of the Charvel Guitars Brand. Come November of 1978 Wayne Charvel filed bankruptcy where he then sold his interest in the Charvel brand to Grover Jackson. A few short years in 1980 Grover Jackson was approached by guitar virtuoso & Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Randy Rhoads. The guitar legend was seeking a one-of-a-kind guitar that not only complimented his neo-classical stylings but had him stand out from any other guitarist around. The RR model was then born and has remained a firm favorite among Jackson, Charvel, and metal fans putting the Jackson name firmly on everyone's radar.

The Pro Series Monarkh is a modern take on the classic Single Cut design. Its neck-thru style heel and deep spoon cutaway give you amazing access to the upper frets making it a favorite for Hard Rock & Metal players. Our Monarkh has been very well kept with only some light surface scratches in the gloss finish, only visible in certain light. this is common with a black gloss finish. Our beefy example has had an upgrade to the neck pickup with the installation of an EMG 85! This is a beastly-sounding guitar that is extremely well-built and would be ideal for any guitarist for home or tour use!
