PRODUCT DETAILS
Ibanez is best known by most of us for being the go-to brand for many guitar virtuosos, metal & hard rock fans, And also those seeking a speedy and robust instrument. The brand is known for retaining such artists as Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert & Nita Straus just to name a few. But it may interest you to know that Ibanez hasn't always been all about the hard and heavy instruments. The Ibanez heritage can actually be traced back as far as the 1930s making Spanish-style acoustic guitars. It wasn't until 1957 that the modern era of Ibanez as we know it today actually began.
Only in production for two years in only two finishes, the RG2620 hit the market in 2005 as part of Ibanez's Prestige line. The Prestige series (still in production today) is one of Ibanez's top spec'd instrument series made to an incredibly high standard in their Japanese factory, The guitars are made ready to hit the road and studio, and deal with any challenges it may face with ease! The RG2620 is equipped with a Wizard Prestige profile neck, 2x Dimarzio IBZ Humbuckers, & the coveted Edge Pro Tremolo system! Despite its few chips & dings around the body (pictured), this is still a great choice for the Ibanez fanatic among you!
