Hofner President Model 457 Brunette 1958

Gorgeous Sunburst 1958 Hofner President Model 457 Brunette in Excellent Condition!

Yet another beautiful Hofner has joined our growing collection, This one in particular is a 1958 Hofner President deep body archtop that has been very well looked after by its original owner & is in beautiful shape! you'd never believe this was made 65 years ago!

Built to a very high standard, carved Spruce top and figured flame Maple back and sides and with 2Black Bar" pickups.

While it has clearly been extremely well-maintained & loved by its last owner, even having a new & well fitting good quality Brown Croc Skin Case,

There are one or two minor areas that show the age of the instrument, with one or two very small scratches around the body of the guitar, some very light lacquer cracking & some fret wear. Despite these small signs of age this is still a very nice example, and would fit very nicely in someone's vintage collection!

All the electronics are original and fully functioning. The original frets still have a lot of life left in them, & the original Hofner logo is still displayed proudly on the body. Not to mention it's currently beautifully set up will a set of new flatwound strings for a comfortable & effortless low action.

As is standard practice with any new addition to the store, This '58 President has been through the trusted hands of our onsite workshop team, where it has been meticulously checked & tested to ensure it is in tip-top shape for its new home & owner!
