Hamer Chaparral USA Flame Top 1997

1997 USA-made Hamer Chaparral with a flame maple cap finished in cherry sunburst, in Superb condition!

A genuinely "road-worn" used and gigged classic Hamer model, but altogether a very cool looking guitar from arguably the most progressive American guitar factory in rock history.

Hamer was the first guitar builder to use Floyd Rose tremolo systems, the first to use black hardare, and the first to use exposed open coil pickups. This instrument is a great representation of what Hamer stood for, and it's nice to have this one on our guitar wall,

This USA Hamer has two hot rail single coils, a bridge humbucker, and a genuine Floyd Rose tremolo system. The classic hockey headstock, boomerang fingerboard inlays and edge-bound body are pure class.

All the essentials are in good order, its frets are fine, the neck is fine and very playable the pickup selector switches and output jack socket have been replaced but the originals along with the original trem bar are in the original (with Hamer logo) rectangle hardcase.

As is standard practice with all of our guitars (new or old) this '97 Chaparral has been through our workshop where it has thoroughly been checked, tested & inspected to ensure it is ready to tour the world over with its new owner, and oh boy, does it scream!
