PRODUCT DETAILS
This is a very nice 1981 Gibson SG Standard left hand in Cherry!
With its vibrant cherry finish, 61-style three-ply pickguard, Block inlays, and "Harmonica" tune-o-matic bridge, this guitar looks the part.
These have slim necks and a 40mm top nut. It weighs just 7.19 lb. The setup is excellent, a really playable instrument. We have given it a full workshop inspection and this guitar will not disappoint.
The pots and neck pickup dates are 1980. The machine heads have been replaced by Scaller Kluson's.
There is some overspray on the back of the neck which suggests that there has been some re-finishing work undertaken in the past. The rest of the guitar has been black light tested and it is the original finish as far as we can ascertain.
The frets are in excellent order with plenty of life left in them. The pickups are a "patent number" neck dated 1980 and a Tarback in the bridge. They sound amazing!
It is being sold with a super quality Freestyle hard shell case.
