This is a remarkable Gibson Les Paul Custom Anniversary limited-edition special order guitar made in 1979.
A fine example in excellent condition with very few marks and perfect frets and fingerboard. Some mild tarnishing to the Gold hardware but it all gives the guitar the correct aged patina. No breaks and no repairs.
It would be hard to find a better example of this vintage premium commemorative Les Paul, and it's in the right finish, Ebony.
Incredible specification, Pear split block position markers, (like a Super 400) adorn the Ebony fingerboard. Unique headstock inlays and brass top nut. It was one of the first Les Pauls to feature a coil splitter switch. Giving the player even more great to play with. The humbucking pickups are Gibson Series VII and read a very respectable 8.7k neck and 8.3k bridge, it's a versatile powerhouse with tone controls that actually do something. Everything functions as it should. Unmolested electronics are all original in every way, a great example! Complete with the original TP-6 fine-tuning bridge.
Sole with the original Gibson protective hard case, all the latches function correctly,
A wonderful investment for the Gibson enthusiast.
