Here we have a very nice example of a 1989 Gibson Les Paul Custom which is in excellent condition for the year.

With just a few small marks and displaying a rich Cherry sunburst finish you would find it hard to believe that this guitar is nearly 35 years old! The frets are nicely polished and show very little signs of wear. The Ebony fingerboard is unmarked, The neck is typical late 80's slim profile and this one only weighs 9.89Lb.

The Gold hardwear is also excellent with very few signs of rub or pitting. The setup and playing action are superb, and we have put it through our workshop for a full inspection.

Its also benefits from a set of "Which Hat" pointer control knobs fitted, which really give it a better look. The original Gibson Speed control knobs are also included with this guitar

These late 80's Customs were loaded with the Bill Lawrence "The Original" HB-L HB-R Super Humbuckers, which read Neck 7.33k and the Bridge 13.45k. These original pickups produce a great tone and impressive sustain. The electronics are unmolested and the original pots date from 1989. We have also cleaned the pots before offering it for sale. Everything functions as it should.

All in all, this is a very impressive Les Paul Custom, in far better condition than many other offerings that we have seen on the market, and sold with an original Brown Gibson hardshell case original manual, and Gibson warranty card.
