This is a really nice early 1970`s Gibson ES-335TD from the old Gibson Kalamazoo factory in "Carlton Burst" with block inlays
A very clean example and with the original "PAT" Humbuckers, and it's rare to find one in this condition.
The neck is a slim profile (40 mm at the top nut) with volute and a real delight to play. They just don't make them like this anymore, it's perfect.
The hard wear is in excellent order and the original Kluson machine heads function correctly.
There are a few small marks around the headstock and a tiny chip on the back of the neck but nothing that would detract from what is overall a very good example.
Its been professionally re-fretted in the past, probably done because the guitar tech wanted the work rather than the guitar needed this done as there is nothing to suggest that this instrument has been used that much to warrant it. And the Rosewood fingerboard is also perfect with no visible sign of wear.
Sold with a Hiscox hard case.
