Gibson ES-335 Dot Left-Handed Natural 1988

Very cool Left-Handed Natural 1988 Gibson ES-335 Dot in Very Good Condition!

We've just taken in this gorgeous 1980s Gibson gem! Specifically, this is a beautiful 1988 Left-Handed variation of a Gibson ES-335 Dot in a classic natural nitro finish revealing the plain maple top, back, & sides of the body and its mahogany neck! These classic 80s 335s featured the now very sought-after Bill Lawrance / Gibson USA 'The Original' Pickups which only featured in Gibson's models for a few short years. Our HB-R (Neck Pickup) measures 7.1k & the HB-L (Bridge Pickup) measures 8.86k with an overall instrument weight of 9.32lb

While our '88 ES-335 is in superb shape for an instrument knocking nearly 40 years of use, a few areas show this beautiful instrument's age and having had some of its components replaced. Starting with the changed parts, its original tuners have been replaced with Grover Tuners at some point in its past as well as some enlarged strap buttons having been installed previously. As for its natural aging, you will notice that the Nitro Finish has begun to check around the neck join, headstock facia, and controls which is natural with an instrument of this age. Aside from these small points this instrument is superb and is ready to take to the stage once more!

As is standard practice with any new arrival in store, this very cool '88 ES-33 has been through the trusted hands of our team in our onsite workshop to ensure it is in tip-top shape for its new home and owner!
