Gorgeous Light Cherry Sunburst 2018 Gibson Custom Shop Limited Run '59 (R9) Les Paul Standard Reissue with Brazilian Rosewood Fretboard in Excellent Condition!
Stealing the spotlight on our Gibson wall today is our most recent arrival! This is a jaw-dropping 2018 Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue, but this isn't just any R9! This is from a very Limited Run in 2018 that didn't just feature a beautifully figured quilted maple top, but a luscious & dark dream spec Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard! These were predominantly sold in the US with a previous owner having bought this in Sweetwater before importing it to the UK where our customer then picked it up in the famous 'Tin Pan Alley' (Denmark Street) in London.
Our beautiful Limited Run R9 weighs in at a comfortable 8.37lb with its pickups reading 7.93k in the Bridge & 7.90k in the Neck! It has been beautifully well-kept by its previous owner(s) & aside from the expected light buffing & picking marks, bears only one or two small dings (pictured). This is an exceptional instrument that would be the crown jewel in anyone's collection!
As is standard practice with any new arrival in store, this very cool Limited Run R9 has been through the trusted hands of our team in our onsite workshop to ensure it is in tip-top shape for its new home and owner!
