These were apparently the very first "Artist Edition" Gibson Custom Shop Les Pauls and the first artist to be honored in this series was the legendary Joe Perry ,

Our example has the serial number JP006. It has no signs of use and is in near-mint condition. A super rare and collectible guitar.
This guitar is 100% original and just came out of a huge collection, it's in NOS condition and comes with the original Gibson Joe Perry Custom Shop hardshell case.
This guitar is not to be confused with the regular run of Joe Perry Les Pauls, it's the Custom Shop run that was limited to only 200 guitars and has a chambered body, The neck pickup is a 57 PAF Classic humbucker (which sounds amazing) the bridge is a special Joe Perry wind voiced more like a vintage Gibson PAF

This guitar has a black binding (top and fretboard), nicer fretboard inlays including the winged "Aerosmith" symbol on the 12th fret.

The book-matched flame Maple top is beautiful to behold through he translucent finish,
The neck is a three-piece flame maple design which is chunky and has rolled edges,

The headstock has Joe's signature inlaid on the open book face and the Gibson Custom shop logo on the back,
