This is a really nice Fullerton factory Fender Stratocaster with tremolo made between 1978-81 in a lovely brown sunburst and with a Rosewood fingerboard.
This guitar has an excellent setup with a slim C shape neck and is just 41mm at the top nut. In exceptional condition for the year with just a few age-related marks, it's a good-looking instrument.
There is some minor fret wear but they are well dressed and have life left in them. The volume pot has been replaced with a CTS unit and unfortunately, solder obscures the pot dates but the serial number (S967889) puts this guitar between 1978 and 1981, we think it's likely to be a 79`.
The pickups are Fender "Black bottom" with matching numbers, 193880. All the hardware is original, it is being sold with a non-original tremolo arm.
There has been the addition of two screws to supplement the "3 Bolt" period neck of this guitar. This has been neatly executed.
Everything works as it should, it is a great playing instrument and it weighs in at 9.90Ib. It is being sold with a Fender "Shotgun" Red label case which has some damage but functions perfectly.
This is an affordable vintage Fender Strat for the player.
