This is a virtually un-played and all-original 1998 Fender American Standard Stratocaster.

In a rich three-tone Sunburst, Alder body. Maple neck with a Rosewood fingerboard.

The late 1990s was a very sought-after period of Fender production in terms of build quality and workmanship, You notice this the moment you pick up this guitar. We don't think the more modern offerings are as interesting or as well put together as these fine instruments.

This example will not disappoint, it is a fantastic instrument that has escaped the ravages of time and multiple owners.

Contemporary features like a flatter fingerboard radius, thinner neck profile, and a refined, more stable tremolo system, but you still get that true "Strat" sound. It's when you feel the neck, that you really feel the difference between these and lesser Strats, They really are so nice to play, so slim and slinky.

This guitar has rested in its case almost since birth. There is just a shadow visible from the original Fender factory POS sticker on its 3-ply pickguard, which will fade over time. The protective film is also still present on the tremolo cavity plastic cover!
