Up for sale is a 2025 Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom 1959 ES-355, finished in a deep, elegant Cherry Red that perfectly captures the look and feel of one of Gibson’s most luxurious semi-hollow designs. Part of Epiphone’s top-tier “Inspired by Gibson Custom” line, this model delivers exceptional attention to detail, premium appointments, and authentic vintage styling at a remarkably high standard.
This example is in Excellent condition, showing only the lightest signs of handling. In fact, some of the original protective plastics are still in place, underlining just how carefully this guitar has been treated. The finish is rich and glossy, the hardware is pristine, and it plays beautifully from top to bottom.
Tonally, the ’59 ES-355 offers a wonderfully balanced voice, warm, open, and articulate, with plenty of depth from its semi-hollow construction and centre block design. It excels at everything from lush, clean passages to smooth blues and classic rock drive, retaining clarity and definition even as gain levels rise. It’s an incredibly musical instrument that responds effortlessly to touch and dynamics.
