Orange's Mkii Rockerverb is a lot of amp for the money. It has a super rich clean tone that exhibits phenomenal overtones and when pushed gives way to the classic British crunch we know and love. The gain channel is pure filth. It can do everything from a little bit of naughty all the way through to screaming debauchery all by turning one little knob. You'd struggle to find a more versatile amp in this kind of price range.
Orange created the Mkii to make the reverb much more useable, adding an ECC83 to power it. They also made the FX loop more transparent and loaded the box with EL34 output valves. All in all some great changes to fine-tune their expert tone machine.
