Ibanez Roadstar II in Ebony 1984 (RARE!)

1984 Ibanez Roadstar II RS1100BK/RS1300BK in Black, In Great Working Condition!

This is 1/100 ever made. Special edition all-black RS1100BK apparently these RGs were made exclusively for the German market.

Yes, our '84 Roadstar does have a fair few battle scars and had two of its saddles changed (pictured) but don't let that discourage you! This is a truly great Japanese-built guitar with so much more to give! The keen-eyed & Back to the Future fans among you may recognize this as the Ibanez Roadstar similar to that used by Marty McFly (Michael J Fox) for his 'Battle of the Bands' audition! (in front of Huey Lewis no less... "Sorry son, You're Just Too Darn Loud!")

The Roadstar we have here is a great example of 80s guitar construction & is quite hard to come by, with our research into this exact model we've been hard-pressed to find the dual-covered humbucker variant with a Master Volume & Tone without the locking nut!

Regardless this guitar has been through our workshop to ensure it is in tip-top condition with a deep clean, restring & set-up! We can safely say this is not only beautiful playing but sounding Ibanez that is hard to put down!

It's a beautiful weight (7.87lb) and is very versatile with its dual push/push coil splits. This is great for anyone looking to take a trip down memory lane, or for anyone looking for a classic Ibanez that can keep up with the modern equivalents!
