PRODUCT DETAILS
Up for sale is a 2004 Fender American Series Stratocaster in rare and striking Chrome Blue with a Maple Fretboard, a beautifully preserved example of one of Fender’s most dependable modern-era USA builds. This guitar has clearly been very well cared for throughout its life and presents in excellent condition, showing only light cosmetic wear consistent with careful use and age. The finish still has a deep, vibrant shine and the overall appearance is exceptionally clean for a 20+ year old instrument.
The frets are in great shape with plenty of life left, offering smooth playability up and down the neck with no major wear issues to note. The maple neck feels comfortable and broken-in in the best possible way, with the classic Fender feel that made the American Series such a respected evolution of the Stratocaster line. The setup is solid, the neck is straight, and the truss rod functions as intended.
Tonally, this Strat delivers everything you’d want from an American-made Fender from this era: articulate cleans, glassy top end, warm neck pickup tones, and that unmistakable Strat quack in positions two and four. The Chrome Blue finish paired with the maple board gives this guitar a distinctly early-2000s Fender aesthetic that stands out without being over the top.
Cosmetically, there are some light signs of handling and normal aging throughout, but nothing excessive or distracting. Any wear present is minimal and exactly what you would expect from a well-kept instrument that has been played responsibly over the years rather than stored away untouched.
Includes the original Fender hard shell case, which is also in very good condition and provides excellent protection for transport or storage.
A clean, honest American Strat with a killer colour combination, excellent playability, and the kind of condition that’s becoming harder to find from this period. Ready for stage, studio, or collection duty.
As is standard practice with any new arrival in store, this very cool American Series Stratocaster has been through the trusted hands of our team in our onsite workshop to ensure it is in tip-top shape for its new home and owner!
