Cream 2020 Vox AC30C2 Limited Edition 2x12" Combo in Excellent Condition!
Finished in the striking Cream tolex, a modern take on one of the most iconic British amplifiers ever made. Delivering the unmistakable Vox chime, rich harmonic complexity, and classic British top end, this amp sounds every bit as good as it looks.
This example is in Excellent condition and has seen very light use, having never been gigged. There is some light staining to the cream tolex, which is entirely to be expected with this finish, along with a small amount of discolouration to the control knobs. These are purely cosmetic and do not affect performance in any way. Functionally, the amp is in perfect working order and has been well cared for throughout.
Rated at 30 watts, the AC30C2 runs on four EL84 power tubes with a 12AX7-driven preamp, delivering the classic Vox response that’s defined countless recordings. It features Normal and Top Boost channels, each with its own volume control, allowing you to move from warm, full-bodied cleans to bright, jangly sparkle with ease. A master volume makes it more manageable at lower levels, while still allowing the amp to open up when pushed.
This Limited Edition model is fitted with two 12" Celestion Creamback speakers, offering a slightly fuller low end, smoother highs, and increased headroom compared to Greenbacks, while still retaining that classic British character. The onboard spring reverb and analogue tremolo complete the traditional AC30 feature set, adding depth and movement to an already inspiring sound. It also makes an excellent pedal platform, responding beautifully to overdrives, boosts, and modulation effects.
Everything on this amplifier is original, and it presents as a lightly used, carefully kept example of a modern AC30.
As is standard practice with any new arrival in store, this very cool Vox has been through the trusted hands of our team in our onsite workshop to ensure it is in tip-top shape for its new home and owner!
