This is a super rare Marshall Silver Jubilee 25/50 amp head and matching Marshall 2556AV 2x12" Speaker cabinet loaded with Celestion "Greenbacks" manufactured in 1987.
We have had the reissues here at Motomusic, they are fine amps for sure, but they are not the same beast as the late 1980s creations. These amps are sought after for good reason, and its great to have this wonderful piece of Marshall history in the store today.
It is 25 and 50-watt power switchable, Effects loop, extension speaker outs, DI out and speaker impedance selector.
You can also switch the mains from 240V to 120V run in North America if any of our American cousins are looking, or you are about to tour the States, this could be yours!
Just back from a full service by Anthony at "Tube Distinctions," and it has also been checked over in our own workshop before being offered for sale. The power amp valves are new, with just a few hours of use.
The cab has had a pair of excellent Celestion Greenback 122 drivers fitted. Some small tears and marks on its original and unique Tolex covering, but all in keeping with a used but well-loved vintage Marshall.
