This is a VERY NICE vintage original 1964 wide 43mm nut Gibson ES-335, finished in desirable cherry red and with original Bigsby and ‘Custom Made’ plaque that is all original with no issues at all.
Everything is all original including the wonderful pickups, all electrics, hardware, finish and frets. It plays beautifully, sounds like cream and has a very nice, playable, fast action with the classic medium chunky 1964 neck profile (like Clapton’s).
There are no breaks or repairs anywhere and all finish is original with no touch ups. There are just a few dings here and there, a bit of mild checking and a small amount of playwear. Frets are still excellent and very playable - it is a real joy to play.
The original black case with the yellow lining is also in excellent condition and is fully functioning including the original handle. Judging by the wear pattern in the lid this case has always been with this guitar.
