Awesome 1990s Translucent Red Washburn Series 1000 Status S70 in Very Good Condition!

A 90s icon! We've just taken in this very cool 1990s Washburn and it is just amazing! Specifically, this is a Series 1000 S70 made under the license of Status from the UK. This was a brief partnership in the 90s that " has all the features, feel and look of its English-made cousins but for less than one-third of the cost. " as stated by Washburn in many of their ad campaigns for the series. The S70 featured Original Status UK Active Electronics, a Maple Neck-Through Body Construction, Ash body with an American Walnut top & back, Washburns 'World Famous' Carbonite Fingerboard, and Status UK brushed metal/gold hardware as well as many more features.

As you can see from our images this S70 has been well-loved and does show some signs of use. There is a collection of various scuffs & scratches as you would expect on a 30+-year-old instrument, but there are also one or two chips and dings as pictured. On the bass's top around its controls, it is also worth noting that the lacquer has cracked around one of the controls, however, all the areas indicated have been thoroughly investigated before listing and we can assure you that this bass is fully functional and in superb shape, ready to hit the stage once more!

As is standard practice with any new arrival in store, this very cool Washburn Series 1000 Status S70 has been through the trusted hands of our team in our onsite workshop to ensure it is in tip-top shape for its new home and owner!
