Fender Player Jazz Bass with Maple Fretboard Buttercream 2018

A fantastic example of the Fender Player Series Jazz Bass, this 2018 Buttercream model with a Maple fingerboard is a particularly cool-looking take on one of Fender’s most enduring bass designs. The combination of the warm Buttercream finish, contrasting hardware and Maple fingerboard gives this one plenty of visual appeal, while retaining all the familiar playability and versatility that make the Jazz Bass such a perennial favourite.

This particular example is in Excellent condition and is very close to Mint overall. There are a few light marks from buffing to the finish, but otherwise it has clearly been very well looked after and presents beautifully. The original pickguard has been replaced with the current example, which in our opinion really suits the Buttercream finish and adds to the overall look of the instrument.

The Jazz Bass remains one of the most versatile bass designs ever conceived, with its familiar dual-pickup configuration offering everything from warm, rounded tones through to a more focused and aggressive sound when both pickups are brought into play. The Maple fingerboard gives the instrument a lively feel under the fingers and complements the classic Fender character beautifully.
