2014 Gibson J-15 – Spruce Top / Walnut Back & Sides – LR Baggs Pickup
This is a superb example of a 2014 Gibson J-15, featuring a Sitka spruce top, walnut back and sides, and a factory-fitted LR Baggs Element pickup system.
The J-15 was introduced by Gibson as an American-made, all-solid-wood alternative to their higher-priced models—built in Bozeman, Montana, with the same craftsmanship and attention to detail as their iconic J-45. The walnut back and sides offer a balanced tonal palette: bright, clear trebles, warm mids, and a focused low end. Combined with the aged spruce top, this guitar now delivers an even sweeter, more resonant tone thanks to over a decade of natural playing and wood maturation.
Condition:
This guitar is in excellent condition for its age, with only a few small marks and light signs of use—all in keeping with a well-cared-for instrument. The frets good shape, and the setup is spot-on, offering superb playability. The neck has that classic Gibson feel—comfortable, fast, and inviting.
