Takamine FP460SCLH – MIJ – Natural – Excellent Condition – Takamine ABS/Hardshell Case
Up for sale is a beautifully built Takamine FP460SCLH, Made in Japan, finished in a classic Natural that highlights Takamine’s renowned craftsmanship and attention to detail. This is a left-handed, stage-ready electro-acoustic from one of the most respected names in acoustic guitars, known for their reliability, tone, and exceptional onboard electronics.
This example is in Excellent condition, showing only light, honest signs of use. There is one small ding on the top near the pickguard, along with some very light general wear, all purely cosmetic and exactly what you’d expect from careful ownership. Overall, it presents extremely well and has clearly been well looked after.
In the hands, the FP460SCLH feels comfortable and balanced, with Takamine’s familiar slim neck profile that’s easy to get along with whether you’re strumming, fingerpicking, or playing extended sets. Acoustically, it delivers a clear, articulate voice with great balance across the strings, while plugged in it excels as a true performance instrument clear, natural, and feedback-resistant, just as Takamine is famous for.
This model also carries some serious Britpop pedigree. The right-handed version of the FP460 was famously used by Noel Gallagher of Oasis during the recording of “Wonderwall”, making this guitar part of a truly iconic chapter in modern music history.
Build quality is excellent throughout, with that unmistakable MIJ fit and finish that Takamine fans swear by. This is a guitar designed to work night after night without fuss, equally at home on stage, in the studio, or as a dependable main acoustic.
The guitar comes complete with a Takamine ABS/hardshell case, offering excellent protection for transport and storage.
Overall, A clean, well-kept MIJ Takamine FP460SCLH in Natural, with minimal cosmetic wear, legendary studio and stage credentials, and outstanding playability. A superb choice for left-handed players looking for a high-quality Japanese-built Takamine with real musical history behind it.
