Up for sale is a 2024 Aztec Gold Squier Paranormal Troublemaker Telecaster Deluxe in excellent condition and tastefully upgraded for players looking for a unique blend of classic
Tele attitude and hot-rodded performance. Finished in a striking Aztec Gold gloss with cream binding and oversized block inlays, this model captures the spirit of late-’70s deluxe designs while offering modern playability and reliability.
This example has been professionally upgraded with a set of Tone Rider Birmingham humbuckers, delivering a rich, articulate voice with excellent clarity, punch, and dynamic response. Inspired by classic British rock tones, these pickups provide tight lows, detailed mids, and smooth highs that work equally well for classic rock, blues, indie, punk, and heavier gain applications. Clean tones remain full and expressive while overdriven sounds have exceptional bite and sustain.
The electronics have also been upgraded with CTS pots for improved taper, smoother control response, and long-term reliability. The guitar feels noticeably more responsive and refined compared to stock examples. Locking tuners have been installed as well, making string changes fast and easy while improving tuning stability during aggressive playing and bending.
The comfortable maple neck features a smooth gloss finish and medium jumbo frets that show little to no wear. The Indian laurel fingerboard plays effortlessly up and down the neck, and the 24.75" scale length gives the instrument a slinky, familiar feel that pairs perfectly with the dual humbucker setup. Factory appointments include the adjustable hardtail bridge, bound body, matching headstock, and four-knob control layout with three-way switching.
Cosmetically, the guitar is in excellent condition overall with only light signs of handling and careful home use. The Aztec Gold finish presents beautifully and the hardware remains clean throughout. The instrument has been fully tested and functions exactly as it should with low action and a comfortable setup.
