Marshall JMP 1992 Super Bass 2-Channel 100-Watt Guitar / Bass Amp Head 1969

This is a 1969 Marshall JMP 1992 Super Bass 2-Channel 100-Watt Guitar / Bass Amp Head.

This fine vintage amplifier is in excellent working order having been recently fully serviced by Anthony Matthews at "Tube Distinctions" a highly regarded UK valve amp workshop.
Sounds absolutely incredible with a clean tone that is outstanding, This is a head favored by many top guitar players, as these have less aggression, work well with pedals, and with a warmer tone than its sister the "Super Lead"

This is the much sought-after "Point to point" late 60's version the serial number is 2263A. The output transformer and choke were changed by Marshall in the 1990's there have been some other caps and a few resistors along with two pots (we believe that this was also done by Marshall) changed keeping this beast "on the road" over the years.

Three of the maid HT supply Capacitors have been replaced to reduce hum although the originals worked fine for live use and these are included with the amp. The bias has been checked and set correctly, and she's ready for a new home now.

Please study our internal pictures. The logo, carry handle, and rubber feet have also been changed.

The mains IC is the more modern type, and the voltage is currently hardwired for 240v. We can easily change this to 115v for our North American customers before shipping if requested.

Some nice history comes with this head, and although used on tour, it's been looked after and can offer many years of service.
