This is a 2022 Gibson Thunderbird Non-Reverse Bass, finished in striking Inverness Green—a rare and distinctive colour that pays homage to classic Gibson custom finishes. Made in the Nashville factory, this model revives the non-reverse body shape of the late '60s with modern refinements. This is a Gibson Demo model.
Virtually unplayed, it remains in near-mint condition with a flawless setup, ready for stage or studio use. Includes original hard shell case, certificate of authenticity, factory paperwork, and toolkit.
Tonally, the Thunderbird offers deep, punchy lows with articulate mids and a slightly aggressive top end—ideal for cutting through a mix without losing low-end authority. The dual Thunderbird pickups deliver a powerful and balanced response, equally suited to rock, punk, and heavier genres, but versatile enough for funk or modern indie.
