On offer here is a 2015 Gibson Memphis ES-335 Studio in a classic Sunburst finish, stripped back to the essentials with the sleek and slightly rarer 2-knob control layout. It’s everything you want from a 335, semi-hollow warmth, airy resonance, and that unmistakable Gibson midrange, just presented in a more focused, no-nonsense format that players tend to really appreciate once they get their hands on one.
Acoustically, it’s lively and resonant, with that familiar woody character you expect from a Memphis-built instrument. Plugged in, it delivers a smooth, articulate voice with plenty of depth. The simplified control setup makes it incredibly intuitive to dial in, whether you’re after warm, rounded cleans or pushing into thicker, more driven territory. It’s a great example of a guitar that covers a lot of ground without ever feeling complicated.
Condition is excellent, showing only light playwear in line with careful use over time. Nothing that detracts from the overall look or feel, just the kind of gentle signs you’d expect on a well-kept instrument that’s been played but respected.
It comes complete with the original Gibson hard case, along with the certificate of authenticity and all the original case candy. A clean, well-rounded ES-335 that offers classic tone and feel with a slightly more streamlined approach.
