Offered for sale is a highly sought-after 1983 Fender Squier JV (Japanese Vintage) Jazz Bass in the increasingly rare Olympic White finish. This instrument is part of the legendary JV series, produced during Fender Japan's golden era and widely celebrated for its exceptional build quality, vintage-accurate specifications, and tonal integrity.

This particular example is in very good condition for its age, with some minor chips and dings consistent with honest playwear, but clearly well cared-for throughout its life. It has been professionally set up, with smooth action and excellent playability. The frets show minimal wear, and the neck feels fast and comfortable—true to the classic '60s Jazz Bass profile.

These early JV instruments, built at the renowned FujiGen Gakki factory, are prized for their attention to detail and faithful reproductions of vintage Fender models. The JB-62 model, as seen here, is a meticulous reissue of the 1962 Jazz Bass, featuring period-correct appointments including:
