VOX AC30 'Top Boost' 1964

Stunning 1964 VOX AC30 'Top Boost' in remarkable original condition! right down to a full complement of Mullard valves and original transformers and Vox foot switch!

This is a beautiful example of Vox engineering from the early/mid-1960s which has been extremely well kept with only a few small scuffs on its original black tolex. This be it slightly unusual AC30 retains its two factory original Celestion Alnico Blue speakers! as opposed to the Silverbacks you'd typically find in this model around this period.

This '64 AC30 has also recently been fully serviced by Anthony at Tube Distinctions (known for being the go-to amplifier technician for many legendary musicians including Jimmy Page of Led Zepplin! Anthony also installed a junction box between the junction box and the amplifier for easy use with an attenuator. This simple modification is easily reversed if the new owner would prefer.

The serial number is hard to read, it looks like 13742. The transformers are original Albion. All original Mullard output valves and yellow label pre's. The screen grid resistors have been replaced, along with a couple of capacitors some resistors have been changed to keep the amp in good running order. Other than this it's one of the most untouched AC-30s that we have seen here, the condition of the amp is superb!
